Organic filters absorb UV radiation, preventing its absorption into deeper layers of the epidermis. UVA filters Complex of mineral and organic substances, which create a thin film on the skin's surface that reflect UVA radiation (wavelength from 400 to 315 nm). Without UVA filter protection, UVA radiation reaches into deeper layers of the skin causing permanent damage: it destroys collagen fibers and elastin, accelerates the skin aging process, and weakens the natural protective mechanisms of the skin. UVB filters Complex of mineral and organic substances, which create a thin film on the skin's surface that reflect UVB radiation (wavelength from 315 to 280 nm). Without this type of filter, redness and sunburn may occur on the skin. UVB filter protects epidermal cells, connective tissue and blood vessels against structural damage to DNA and RNA which, could lead to precancerous states and skin cancer.
